2. Hosting and server logs
The website is provided through Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When the site is accessed, Vercel processes technically necessary connection data, in particular the IP address, time, requested resource, referrer, and browser and device information. This processing serves the secure and stable provision of the website and is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the secure and efficient operation of this website. Vercel also processes data in the United States and states that transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, additionally, Standard Contractual Clauses.
3. Cookies and audience measurement
The website does not use advertising, tracking, or analytics tools. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights are not included. The technically necessary session cookie NEXT_LOCALE may be set to retain the selected language. It is not used for profiling or audience measurement.
4. Contact form and email
When you submit an inquiry, we process your email address, the content of your message, and your name if you provide it voluntarily. The information is used solely to handle and answer the inquiry. If the inquiry concerns a contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other inquiries are processed under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is appropriate communication with prospective clients and business contacts. To prevent automated abuse, the IP address is converted solely into a short-lived, pseudonymised rate-limit identifier; the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and the legitimate interest in securing the form. The required fields are your email address and message. No automated decision-making takes place.
5. Email delivery through Resend
The form sends the inquiry to Plus Five Five, Inc. (Resend), 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA, so it can be delivered to Haseloff Software Solutions by email. Resend processes the form contents and technical delivery data as a processor. Resend states that account data, email metadata, logs, and API records are stored in the United States and that email data is retained for 30 days across all plans. According to Resend, the international transfer is safeguarded through the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses. You can request a copy of the applicable safeguards at kontakt@haseloff-solutions.de.
6. Retention
Inquiry data is deleted once the inquiry has been fully handled and no further retention is necessary, no later than six months after the last substantive communication. If a contractual relationship arises or statutory retention duties apply, only the necessary data is retained for the applicable contractual or statutory period. Pseudonymised rate-limit identifiers created briefly for abuse prevention are held only in memory and discarded after ten minutes.
7. Your rights
Within the legal framework, you have rights including access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, and data portability. Where processing relies on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. To exercise your rights, send a message to kontakt@haseloff-solutions.de.
8. Right to lodge a complaint
Under Article 77 GDPR, you may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority includes the Data Protection Commissioner of Saxony-Anhalt, Otto-von-Guericke-Straße 34a, 39104 Magdeburg, Germany, poststelle@lfd.sachsen-anhalt.de.
